About The Position
The client is located in the Chattanooga, TN area and is seeking a BIM Manager for the MEP & Fire Protection industry. This role involves managing CAD/Revit project setup, cloud-based models, updating models/backgrounds, creating templates and families, and managing CAD/Revit production standards and procedures. The position also requires serving as a technical resource for engineers and designers and performing modeling/drafting of MEP & FP systems. This is a contract-to-perm role with a long-term need.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering/Design
- 5 years experience supporting CAD and Revit projects in an architectural and/or engineering capacity
- Proficiency with Revit
- Ability to setup projects in Revit, manage cloud-based models, creating templates, etc.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks
