About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a BIM Manager to define the digital foundation for physical spaces at a global scale. This role involves serving as the principal architect of the virtual workspace, building core Revit templates, global parameter frameworks, and master asset libraries. The position is central to a highly scaled, forward-looking Design Standards Studio, combining systems-level governance, workflow automation, and hands-on content creation. The BIM Manager will partner with Standards Governance and Documentation teams to bridge physical architectural models with digital database schemas and lead a multi-region governance network supporting project delivery teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in BIM Administration, Model Coordination, and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) management.
  • Proven track record of developing, deploying, and enforcing master templates and shared parameter files for multi-site corporate programs.
  • Deep proficiency within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM 360 ecosystems.
  • Hands-on mastery of parametric families, nested families, type catalogs, and central parameter database management.
  • Experience authoring clear BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), modeling guides, and technical standards.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience managing external A/E consultants, vendor model handoffs, and multidisciplinary design reviews.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical/technical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience writing scripts in Dynamo, Python, or the Revit API to automate repetitive workflows.
  • Experience organizing data-rich BIM catalogs for web-based Content Management Systems.
  • Exposure to large-scale retail, hospitality, industrial rollout programs, or technical infrastructure projects (R&D labs, data centers, cleanrooms).
  • Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP): Revit Architecture
  • Autodesk Certified Lead or BIM Manager credentials
  • buildingSMART Professional Certification or CanBIM Professional / Specialist Certification

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain global Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD modeling standards, master templates, and shared parameter files across the Design Studio.
  • Build and maintain the master BIM Family Library (including programmatic equipment blocks, architectural details, and fixtures) to ensure all 3D models reflect current design standards.
  • Serve as the primary Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Hub Administrator for studio ACC and Revit users, managing permissions, licensing, and cloud worksharing environments.
  • Research, develop, and deploy automation tools (using Dynamo, Python, or Revit API) to streamline routine modeling checks, parametric verification, and QA/QC workflows.
  • Mentor and manage regional BIM Coordinators across EMEA and APAC to handle localized model troubleshooting, coordinate technical training, and maintain global alignment.
  • Conduct regular model health audits on active local models and external Architect of Record submittments to ensure clean file handoffs.
  • Collaborate directly with Standards Governance and Documentation leads to align Revit model metadata and database schemas.
  • Deliver master template and family catalog updates quarterly for web-based CMS publishing.
