About The Position

VIATechnik is seeking an Electrical BIM Detailer to join their team. This role is responsible for turning electrical design intent into fabrication- and installation-ready models and drawings that directly support manufacturing, coordination, and successful field execution. The work produced will be used directly and success is measured by accuracy, clarity, and reduced field issues. This position offers the opportunity to make a visible, measurable impact on real projects without being buried in redlines or rework. VIATechnik is a global digital expert team of over 500 professionals focused on leading the built environment in creating a better future. They work with clients such as Amazon, Mars Wrigley, and National Geographic.

Requirements

• US work authorization is required.
• Electrical BIM professional experience.
• Pride in precision, constructability, and getting it right before work hits the field.
• Ability to turn electrical design intent into fabrication- and installation-ready models and drawings.
• Care deeply about accuracy, constructability, and clean deliverables.
• Enjoy working through technical challenges and coordination constraints.
• Take ownership of your work and manage priorities independently.
• Value collaboration with project managers, BIM coordinators, and field teams.
• Desire to grow technical influence over time, not just produce drawings.

Responsibilities

• Producing highly accurate electrical BIM models and drawings that meet fabrication and installation standards
• Ensuring models pass QA/QC reviews with minimal revisions
• Supporting coordination across trades to eliminate clashes and ambiguity before construction
• Delivering work reliably to support project and manufacturing schedules
• Continuously improving how BIM tools and workflows are used across projects
