We have an opening for a BIM Designer to join our team at our Pelzer, SC manufacturing plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5 years of total CAD experience is required
• 3 years of experience with Autodesk Revit.
• 2 years of experience with Architectural/ MEP construction drawings and understanding of blueprints and technical cut sheets (Engineering Drawings) is required
• Experience with Fabrication or Engineered Shop Drawings is required.
• Exceptional learning capacity

Nice To Haves

• Engineering or architecture/ design Master’s degree is preferred.
• Additional knowledge of other CAD programs (ie: AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, etc.) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop 3D models of our modular buildings for our ongoing projects
• Model structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements in Revit (not required to know all from the start)
• Generate shop drawings from the created 3D models of our buildings
• Dimension and annotate all shop drawing pages (fabrication and assembly instructions, welding symbols, taping symbols, etc.)
• Revise shop drawings according to client comments as well as to requests/ suggestions from our Operations department
