About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its growing Business Advisory and Shared Services discipline in Canada. This role involves facilitating the BIM production team, liaising with various discipline groups within the Mobility group, and contributing to a mission focused on cross-sector synergy, global work-sharing, standardization, optimization, and data harnessing throughout a project's lifecycle. Requirements

• 3-5 years’ relevant experience including supervision of elements of large, complex projects in the Infrastructure or Transportation Sector.
• Experience in ISO 19650 protocols and their application on large projects.
• Effective project management, client relationship management, commercial skills, and management of technical aspects of BIM production for major projects.
• Advanced capability in OpenRoads Designer & Civil 3D, AutoCAD.
• Expertise to define BIM outcomes.
• Advanced ability applying design experience to the models produced.
• Advanced ability in setting up and coordinating a BIM Protocol and Execution Plan for a given project.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with OpenRoads Design Workspaces is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide direction and technical advice to team members for project delivery and professional development.
• Liaise with the project team, BIM Manager, Information Manager, and Project Manager to review and amend models/drawings.
• Review detailed work plans to ensure successful project completion within budget and deadlines.
• Apply BIM processes and establish/implement a BIM Execution Plan (objectives, requirements, conditions) and a delivery strategy.
• Oversee an agreed scope of work and the operational workload of a project team, including sub-contractors, ensuring appropriate allocation and utilization of resources.
• Develop effective working relationships with the Project Director/Manager and client for communication of progress, changes, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate the BIM process with necessary tools on large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Provide input to the development of the company's BIM policies and strategies.
• Implement and ensure compliance with the company's BIM policies and strategies within the team.
• Adapt and adjust strategies related to information, quality, process, and HR management to support BIM implementation.
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis drafting and BIM standards, and national drafting and BIM standards.
• Continuously review optimal BIM-related software and develop business cases for new investments.
