About The Position

Direct Hire Beyond TalentEdge has several direct hire BIM opportunities. This opportunity allows you to be part of an ESOP. Our client is a large local Mechanical Contractor handling complex projects for their East Coast Market. A FULL JOB DESCRIPTION CAN BE PROVIDED TO QUALIFIED/INTERESTED CANDIDATES. Our client is growing exponentially and therefore is adding 3 BIM Coordinators and 1 BIM Manager – Below is a partial list of responsibilities for both positions – a full list can be found on the full job description.

Requirements

  • REVIT, SYSQue and Navisworks
  • AutoCAD
  • Field and 3D Coordination Experience must be in Hospitals, Laboratories, Central Utility Plants and Large Institutional projects.
  • MUST be able to produce CAD generated mechanical layouts using project specifications.
  • 3D Drafter will create fabrication and spool drawings for Fab shop and field use, as well as overall project coordination drawings.
  • Experience is required with equipment typical for Mechanical, HVAC, Process Systems and Advanced Plumbing Systems.
  • 3-5 years of experience REQUIRED with specific FIELD experience resolving mechanical conflicts and creating coordination drawings in 3D.
  • 3 disciplines of experience in Sheetmetal, Piping and plumbing experience .
  • Experience will only be considered relevant if it is 3D and performed as a coordination effort on projects consistent with this posting.
  • Engineering design and 2D CAD will NOT be considered relevant experience.
  • All qualifications listed under BIM Coordinator plus supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Produce CAD generated mechanical layouts using project specifications
  • Create fabrication and spool drawings for Fab shop and field us as well as overall project coordination drawings
  • Resolve mechanical conflict and creating coordination drawings using 3D
  • Overall supervision (all locations)
  • Scheduling and accountability of the department.
