About The Position

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Billing Support Specialist to support one of our valued clients. The Billing Support Specialist will assist the billing and accounting teams with routine and ad hoc billing, reporting, cash receipt processing, and general ledger support. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working independently with financial data and customer-specific reporting requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Comfort working with both structured and unstructured financial data.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently with minimal oversight.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting support is preferred.
• Experience with financial enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices in accordance with established billing schedules and requirements.
• Create customer-specific invoice summaries and formatted reports based on contractual or operational requirements.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analyses, including revenue, billing trends, and variance analysis.
• Process cash receipts and ensure transactions are recorded and reconciled accurately and promptly.
• Support general ledger activities, including basic reconciliations, data validation, and reporting.
• Provide additional reporting and analytical support to the accounting team as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation.
• Follow applicable internal controls, accounting procedures, and finance policies.
