Billing Specialist
About The Position
This position supports a construction-focused billing environment during a period of systems transition and operational realignment. The role will primarily own invoice generation and billing accuracy while supporting greater reporting visibility as billing is consolidated into a shared services model. The successful candidate is expected to contribute immediately, helping relieve existing team members who are currently stretched across multiple responsibilities. While there may be limited exposure to progress billing, the majority of the work involves straightforward, high-volume invoicing using QuickBooks and Vista.
Requirements
- Experience in billing/invoicing, preferably in construction or project-based environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to billing accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage recurring, high-volume tasks.
- Professional communication and workplace polish.
- Experience with accounting or billing systems.
Nice To Haves
- QuickBooks experience preferred.
- Exposure to Vista or other construction ERPs is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals (AR, billing cycles).
- Non-degreed candidates welcome; a degree is a plus, not a requirement.
- Accounting degree preferred but not mandatory.
