About The Position

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing issues, and ensuring accurate customer account balances. This role involves generating invoices daily, processing credits, and assisting with month-end balancing.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related field
• High School Diploma required
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Possess strong computer skills with Gmail, Microsoft Office, Google Suite
• Possess strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years college or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email or direct contact
• Collaborate with sales personnel, plant managers, and cash application specialists to resolve billing issues and help ensure customer account balances are accurate
• Run preliminary invoice registers and confirm pricing and yardage to ensure accurate invoicing
• Compare delivery tickets to customer orders and resolve differences
• Generate customer invoices daily
• Process credits/rebills as needed
• Assist with balancing yardage at month-end
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Controller
