About The Position
Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift between 7:00am- 4:00pm; no weekends or holidays. This is a hybrid position, in person work location will be UW Health N. Bell School Rd. Clinic 3535 Bell School Rd. Additional components of compensation may include: Evening, night, and weekend shift differential, Overtime, On-call pay. Requirements
- Post-secondary education or certification in medical coding, business or health-related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in medical billing may be considered in lieu of post-secondary education or certification in addition to the experience below.
- 1 year of coding or medical billing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in business or heath-related field.
- Experience in an academic health system.
- Experience with Epic applications.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent.
