Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in architecture/engineering (A/E) or professional services
Strong understanding of project-based accounting principles
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of work

Responsibilities

Lead monthly project billing and invoicing in alignment with contract terms and project schedules
Partner with Project Managers to review billing, track project progress, and support financial decision-making
Generate and review project financial reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity of data
Set up new projects, including contract review and budget coordination
Manage project financial updates, including adjustments, transfers, and billing revisions
Review and validate timesheets for billing accuracy and make necessary labor adjustments
Coordinate draft invoice review and follow-up with project teams
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to project billing and financial records
Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation across all project phases
Contribute to ongoing process improvements to support efficiency and consistency
