About The Position
This is a hybrid position with an in-person work location at UW Health N. Bell School Rd. Clinic, 3535 Bell School Rd. The work schedule is 100% FTE, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. No weekends or holidays are required for this specific role, though other components of compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or certification in medical coding, business or health-related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in medical billing may be considered in lieu of post-secondary education or certification in addition to the experience below.
- 1 year of coding or medical billing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in business or heath-related field.
- Experience in an academic health system.
- Experience with Epic applications.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent.
