About The Position

ALL Erection & Crane Rental, located in Independence, is seeking a Billing Clerk and Accounting Assistant with solid general office skills to assist with billing, invoicing, and other accounting functions. This is a full-time, exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.

Requirements

Must have solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Experience with NexGen maintenance software preferred.
Current Notary, preferred.
Three (3+) years experience with Accounts Receivable or Billing, highly desired.

Responsibilities

Oversee billing and invoicing.
Maintain up-to-date account billing.
Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries.
Perform billing, collections, and other office support activities.
Transfer data to general ledger.
Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.
Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
Assist in month end reporting procedures.
Use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies.
Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Perform a wide range of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.
Other duties as assigned.
