PASCO is seeking a Billing/Payroll Analyst to join their collaborative team. This role is crucial for supporting billing and payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing, investigating discrepancies, resolving complex issues, and supporting compliance with state and federal requirements. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • High-level Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of data and electronic health record systems.

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of billing and/or payroll processing experience.
  • College coursework or related education.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end processing of claims and payroll, ensuring all claims are created, processed and exported accurately and timely to the state each week for Therap services.
  • Run reports, identify and correct late visits, billing discrepancies, and claim denials, making independent decisions to resolve issues and resubmit to the State as needed.
  • Lead EVV data reviews and time sheet corrections, ensuring compliance with State while communicating and training coordinators for Therap services.
  • Serve as a key resource and backup for Therap Payroll and assist Therap Payroll Specialist, Senior Payroll Administrator, and Senior Billing/Payroll Manager providing support for complex payroll and billing matters.
  • Independently obtain prior authorizations and resolve third-party denials for Medicaid and commercial insurance.
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of client insurance information and electronic health records, maintaining strict HIPAA and confidentiality standards in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations set forth by State and Federal agencies, as well as PASCO’s administration.
  • Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational operations.
