About The Position

CO-Energy is looking for a qualified individual to provide outstanding main office support at our Boise, ID branch. The Billing & Invoicing Specialist is a critical main support position that ensures the smooth ordering, billing and financial workings of the company. They have regular and consistent opportunities to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations, both internal and external customers. In 2026, CO-Energy will celebrate our 39th anniversary as a leading distributor of fuels, oils and lubricants to commercial customers throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Requirements

Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
Ability to operate basic office machines and technology such as personal computers, printers, copiers, telephones, credit card machines, etc.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Three (3) or more years of customer service and/or front office clerical experience

Responsibilities

Process billing and invoicing of customer accounts
Create and process sales orders and fuel transfers
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, customer account issues or comments
Perform basic financial transactions and record keeping such as taking customer payments and preparing bank deposits
Performs other related duties as assigned
Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks
Performs basic filing and record keeping
Back-up Customer Service Representatives with greeting customers, clients, visitors in-person and over the phone
