Prime Healthcare is actively seeking new members to join our corporate team! The Billing & Follow up Specialist is the lead responsible for the timely follow-up of Managed Care/Commercial accounts. They communicate clearly and efficiently by phone with health plans, maintain productivity standards and reports, and are responsible for obtaining State collection guidelines if applicable. This role also involves reviewing managed care contracts.
Requirements
- Knowledge of contract interpretation
- Familiar with hospital billing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of four years hospital managed care/commercial collector experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Responsibilities
