About The Position

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, people‑focused Billing & Enrollment Representative to support health, dental, life, and income protection programs for Maine’s municipal employees and retirees. Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and numbers
• Clear, professional communication skills and a customer‑service mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience in insurance billing, enrollment, or benefits administration (or the ability to quickly learn)

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in business, insurance, or a related field
• Experience with benefits systems, COBRA, or eligibility administration

Responsibilities

• Enroll members and verify eligibility across multiple benefit programs
• Generate and reconcile monthly employer and participant billings
• Administer COBRA notices and termination processes in compliance with state & federal law
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employers, retirees, and participants
• Coordinate enrollment and billing data with third‑party administrators and vendors
• Prepare reports and correspondence that support sound decision‑making
