About The Position

Under limited supervision the Data Support Specialist will be responsible for data management, analytics and auditing.

Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills and experience navigating Ingenious Med, Centura Epic and Reventics Epic.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven RCM experience and understanding of claim processing.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for offshore team includes:
  • - Manage team escalations on process flows or access
  • - Conduct all tasks while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • - Creates a charge entry sheet for items that can’t be billed out of Optum A-life
  • - Pulls data direct for Shadow Data, DD Data, CEDR (FigMD)
  • - Pull daily logs for assigned clients
  • - Maintains spreadsheet in the Facility Access tracking all the access to each hospital health system
  • - Provides training/support for hospital system navigation to all Omega employees
  • - Works weekly Missing Transcription Module (MT) and works weekly Orphan Transcription Module (OT)
  • - Tracks account totals of what was coded for invoices
  • - Works Fatal Errors from ALIFE, Medimobile, Ingenious
  • - Communicates to providers on behalf of offshore team
  • Billing workflow audits include:
  • - Quality control over India Data Support for missing transcription, orphaned transcription, clean up lists, items the team sends for escalation
  • - Reviews export sheets for accuracy
  • - Telehealth clean up if needed
  • - Works fatal errors for validation
  • - Tracks clean up lists for client reconciliation and works with coders to get charges billed
