About The Position

Wilson Construction Company has an immediate opening at our headquarters in Canby, OR for a Billing Clerk. Wilson has been in business since 1952, as a power utility contractor, working in multiple states. The Billing Clerk will work closely with various departments throughout the organization, under the direction of the AR/Billing Manager. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years experience in an office setting
  • High Proficiency in Word / Excel
  • Data entry skills
  • 10 key by touch
  • Typing 50 wpm
  • Alpha and numeric filing skills

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and monthly contract billings, progress billings based on a schedule of values, T&E billings, and unit based contract billings
  • Compiling required backup documentation for billings
  • Reviewing contract documents for billing requirements
  • Assist in maintaining weekly and monthly billing checklists
  • Entering deposits into the accounting system
  • Maintaining electronic filing system
  • Maintaining billing summaries for assigned jobs
  • Request and track lien releases for assigned vendors
  • Assist in following up on payments
  • Ensuring all billings are prepared and submitted to the customer timely
