About The Position

The Maples Group is looking for an accomplished Billing Analyst to join their team as part of their financial services business in Montreal. Maples Billing Analysts are the pivotal component between business operations and finance. Charged with providing exceptional customer service and financial administration, the primary focus of this role will be on the production of client level invoices and the management of client level WIP, AR and Matter Credit balances for their global business teams. The person in this role will be responsible for following established policies, processes and procedures while applying specific knowledge and experience in order to help ensure client level invoicing is completed accurately.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma (or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal skills
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to a changing work environment
• Demonstrate an ability to deliver high quality and accurate work within tight deadlines
• Proven capability to multi task and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal work inbox
• Process client level invoicing
• Process client level invoice queries
• Perform WIP analysis
• Perform time entry cleanup
• Produce daily billing report
• Participate in the annual billing process (as needed)
• Work with business teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of client source data
