About The Position
Alverno Billing Services is seeking a Biller to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and filing of claims to various third-party payers for services by Alverno Clinical Laboratories, LLC. They will also prepare mail receipts for deposit and posting, ensuring accuracy and proper application of contractual allowances. The role requires resolving any discrepancies in allowances.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous medical billing experience required.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of claims to various third-party payers for services by Alverno Clinical Laboratories, LLC.
- Prepares mail receipts for deposit and posting.
- Ensures that receipts are prepared for posting accurately.
- Ensures that if contractual allowances are indicated at the time of payment, that the allowance is appropriately taken and applied.
- Ensures that if allowance is not appropriately taken that the account is satisfactorily resolved.
