About The Position

As a Biller at Scharmach Automotive Group, you will be responsible for accurately processing and finalizing vehicle sales transactions, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure smooth financial operations and excellent customer service. Pay range is $25.00 to $28.00 an hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or accounting is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive billing, accounting, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle sales processes, DMV regulations, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in dealership management systems and accounting software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Washington State vehicle registration and title requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and review all vehicle sales transactions, ensuring accuracy in documentation, pricing, and tax calculations.
• Verify and finalize deal paperwork, including purchase agreements, title applications, and loan contracts.
• Communicate with sales, finance, and accounting departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing of deals.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions in compliance with dealership and legal requirements.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding titles and lien releases to ensure proper completion.
• Reconcile deal packs and ensure alignment with accounting records.
• Stay updated on state and local regulations related to vehicle sales, taxes, and registration.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or issues related to billing or title processing.
• Support the accounting team with end-of-month closing tasks and reporting as needed.
