About The Position

Jones is seeking a Billboard Advertising Sales Executive to fuel growth throughout Northeast Wisconsin and surrounding markets. Based out of our De Pere, Wisconsin facility, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by helping businesses elevate their brands through high-visibility billboard advertising solutions. Success means delivering outstanding customer experiences, achieving sales goals, and helping clients maximize their advertising investment.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in advertising sales preferred
  • Experience selling media solutions such as radio, television, newspaper, magazine, digital advertising, out-of-home advertising, or billboard advertising is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to develop new business and consistently achieve sales goals
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage sales pipelines and customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Professional, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow billboard advertising revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities with local businesses, developers, and other prospective clients
  • Manage the full sales process, including prospecting, relationship building, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
  • Generate new business through networking, cold outreach, referrals, business-to-business sales efforts, and existing relationships
  • Evaluate opportunities to ensure alignment with profitability goals and company objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive pricing strategies and deliver exceptional customer solutions
  • Identify and coordinate with local fabrication and installation partners to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Prepare accurate proposals, contracts, and project documentation while maintaining attention to detail throughout the sales process
  • Provide reliable sales forecasts and regular updates on business development activities
  • Maintain accurate prospect, customer, and project information within the CRM system
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities
