Bilingual Trauma-Focused Family Therapist
About The Position
Savio House is seeking a bilingual clinician to provide therapeutic services, focusing on family preservation and trauma-informed treatments like TF-CBT and TST. This role aims to keep children and youth with their families when safety concerns are identified. The position involves collaborating with a local community program to support the Spanish-speaking community and transform the lives of children, youth, and families. Savio has been providing evidence-based therapeutic treatment for over 50 years, working with children, adolescents, and their families in their homes across Denver and other areas in Colorado. The therapist will support caregivers in creating safe environments, engage primary caregivers in treatment, collaborate with families on goals, and help families meet treatment goals to keep or reunite children with their families.
Requirements
- Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field
- DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC, NLC
- Bilingual in Spanish and English

Responsibilities
- Supporting caregivers in creating an environment that promotes safety and stability for their children (0-18 years of age)
- Engaging primary caregivers in active, change-orientated treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to progress and connecting them with services and supports.
- Collaborating with families and allowing them to take the lead in setting treatment goals
- Keeping or reuniting children with their families by supporting families in meeting their treatment goals
