About The Position
The Bilingual Therapy Technician helps maintain a clean, orderly, and safe clinic; provides direct and indirect client care under the direct on-site supervision of professional staff; assists clinical staff; and provides translation when needed. The role also supports treatment activities, client supervision, and team operations while following infection-control, confidentiality, HIPAA, and company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Enjoy working with others at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the department in a clean and orderly condition.
- Disinfect equipment throughout the treatment day and at its conclusion according to infection-control policies and procedures.
- Provide direct and indirect care to multiple clients under the direct on-site supervision of professional staff.
- Pick up equipment and supplies during treatment hours and at the end of the treatment day.
- Collect accurate data on treatment activities.
- Support a team environment by assisting clients as required or requested.
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and company policies and procedures.
- Train new therapy technicians on job functions.
- Maintain the safety of clients and staff by following cleaning policies and procedures.
- Maintain the maintenance binder.
- Supervise clients during breaks.
- Perform other duties as delegated, required, or requested.
- Provide translation when needed.
