Bilingual Store Driver (Spanish/English)
About The Position
This position is responsible for picking, staging, and safely delivering parts to pro customers. The driver will also pick up returns and cores, drop off sales flyers, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. Daily collection of credit accounts and building relationships with customers are key aspects of the role. The driver will assist in upselling and cross-selling products, maintain store cleanliness, perform general stocking duties, and stay knowledgeable about product inventory and new arrivals. Engaging with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services is also required. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and leadership
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment
- Sales aptitude and customer service orientation
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
- Predominantly walking or standing
- Ability to talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities
- Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers

- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
- Daily collection of credit accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
- Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
- Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
- General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
- Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
- Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
- Other duties as assigned
