About The Position

Toolkit Tutors is building an active tutor network for current and upcoming in-person placements across NYC public schools. Tutors support targeted, high-impact programs, primarily during the school day, and are staffed on a placement-by-placement basis. The network is accepting applications from tutors with English and Spanish instructional capacity and experience in academic subject tutoring, Regents exam support, test preparation, mentoring, and small-group instruction. After approval, tutors are not assigned to a single role. Toolkit Tutors will contact network members when placements become available that match their skills, subject experience, availability, and, when relevant, language ability. Placement timing varies according to school needs. Applicants’ experience is reviewed by the recruitment team, and qualified candidates may be invited to a brief phone screen and interview before joining the active network.
