About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Pre-Suit Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal injury law and possess excellent communication and multitasking skills. This role is crucial in managing pre-suit cases, ensuring smooth communication between clients and legal teams, and maintaining accurate case documentation. The position is on-site in our Fort. Lauderdale office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Required Paralegal Certification
Minimum of 3 years of Personal Injury (Plaintiff) experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency with computers, telephone lines, and other related office equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning and reporting skills
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude
Bilingual in Spanish (written and verbal fluency required)

Smokeball Case Management Software experience a plus

Responsibilities

Manage pre-suit cases from inception to settlement.
Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.
Gather and organize all necessary documentation, including medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
Draft legal documents, correspondence, and demand packages.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in the case management system.
Assist attorneys with case preparation and strategy.
Schedule appointments, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met.
Translate documents and facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking clients and the legal team.
