Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Therapist Hybrid
About The Position
Alta Mental Health Solutions is seeking bilingual English/Spanish-speaking therapists to join their growing outpatient mental health clinic in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This hybrid position combines in-person sessions with remote telehealth sessions. The role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact by expanding access to culturally responsive mental health care for Spanish-speaking families. Therapists will provide psychotherapy, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care in both English and Spanish.
Requirements
- An active Maryland LCSW-C, LCPC, LMSW, or LGPC license in good standing.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct assessments and therapy in both languages.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Reliability and a commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule.
- Comfort providing both in-person care and telehealth.
- A compassionate, culturally responsive approach to working with diverse individuals and families.
- Expected weekly session target: 15-25
- Timely documentation is required
- Reliable attendance and schedule consistency are required
- Participation in supervision and feedback processes is required

Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy in English and Spanish to clients within your areas of training and competence.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver culturally responsive, evidence-based care that respects each client’s experiences, values, and goals.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as client needs change.
- Coordinate care with colleagues and participate in supervision, consultation, and team meetings as appropriate.
