About The Position

Bilingual Spanish speaking tutors will provide phonics, literacy and math support for grades 3rd through 5th. The program will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. As an Education Champion, you'll provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep. You’ll collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive academically and personally.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish speaking.
• Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Available to work 10-35 hours per week at assigned school(s).
• Passion for Learning: Dedicated to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
