Total Care Injury & Pain Centers is hiring bilingual (English/Spanish) assistants for their Gonzales and Plaquemine offices. This role offers paid on-the-job training, making it an excellent opportunity to learn a healthcare career with no prior medical experience required. The ideal candidate is organized, good with people, and comfortable using a computer. Most successful assistants at the company started with no healthcare background.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Comfortable with computers and scheduling software
- Reliable, punctual, and warm with patients
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance and handle intake paperwork
- Translate between Spanish-speaking patients and providers
- Assist doctors with chiropractic therapies (on-site training provided)
