About The Position

Entune Behavioral Health is seeking a Spanish-speaking Receptionist for our outpatient behavioral health clinic in Tucson, AZ. Entune Behavioral Health offers individual, couples, and family therapy, along with a range of supportive mental health services designed to help clients build resilience, improve well-being, and achieve meaningful life goals. We are currently hiring a bilingual Behavioral Health Receptionist / Front Desk to join our team and provide excellent support to our diverse client community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably multiple years in a medical or behavioral health setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organization and administrative skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven experience in Electronic Health/Medical Record Systems, preferably Advanced MD (AMD)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Current CPR, AED, First Aid Certification (Required)
  • Current DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
  • Spanish Speaking (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or team member
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal wait times
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Collect co-pays and fees, ensuring accurate records and adherence to financial policies
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality (HIPAA)
  • Assist patients with inquiries and provide relevant information about services and procedures
  • Prepare and process medical forms and documents
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and deliveries
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
