About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bilingual Shipping & Receiving Associate proficient in English and Spanish to support daily warehouse operations. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, preparing and wrapping pallets for shipment, conducting quality inspections, and assisting with general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a physically active position that requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and moving materials throughout the workday. The pay is $17.00 per hour, with hours of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and learn new processes.
Nice To Haves
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience.
- Sit-down forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, wrap, and secure pallets for shipment.
- Inspect products and shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform quality control checks and report damaged or incorrect materials.
- Organize and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with other shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as needed.
