About The Position

We are seeking a bilingual Service Representative – Foreign Exchange to join a dynamic and fast-paced T&O – Foreign Exchange & Money Market team. This role sits within the Verbal Affirmation Team, where you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and confirmation of foreign exchange trades. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in Commerce, Finance, or Economics looking to launch their careers in the banking and capital markets industry.

Requirements

• Bilingual in French and English (required)
• Graduate (or early career) from a Commerce, Finance, or Economics program
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Foreign Exchange or Capital Markets products
• Knowledge of SWIFT payments and confirmations
• Experience in: Financial services, Funds management, Operational processing
• Familiarity with Wall Street systems/software

Responsibilities

• Perform verbal and written trade affirmations with clients via phone and email
• Contact clients to confirm FX trades post-execution (outbound communication required)
• Validate trade details, including: Currency and rates, Settlement instructions, Payment distribution
• Approve trades within internal systems, including: Drafting memos, Recording timestamps, Collecting signed documentation
• Process an average of 50 affirmations per day
• Monitor trade limits and manage credit exceptions
• Handle FX, Money Market, and FX Options confirmations
• Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external clients
