About The Position

Ring's End, Inc. is seeking a determined full-time Bilingual Customer Service / Sales Associate to keep our retail operations running smoothly. This position earns a competitive pay and is eligible for great benefits. We are a Connecticut-based lumber and building materials retailer serving Connecticut, South County, Rhode Island, and Westchester County, New York. Requirements

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes

  • Ability to work on point-of-sale software as well as various other vendor and quoting software
  • Firm grasp of basic mathematical functions

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for profitability and customer satisfaction in our stores.
  • Interact and assist customers with a smile.
  • Correspond with regular customer contacts and potential customers, promoting the sale of Ring's End products and services.
  • Handle instances of consumer dissatisfaction and specific customer complaints fairly and promptly.
  • Schedule deliveries and follow up.
  • Guide and advise clients on their building material inquiries.
  • Answer phones and emails.
  • Keep inventory organized.
  • Do anything else to help customers.
