About The Position

This role is responsible for driving the results and development of the organization. The Bilingual Sales Associate will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions, managing cash, and promoting company products and services. Success in this role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic sales environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must speak Spanish fluently and at least basic English communication.
  • Ability to use a computer's keyboard (letters and numbers) and computer mouse.
  • Detail-oriented, especially when reading, writing, and counting numbers and currency.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills for constant interaction with customers in person or by phone.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs, advise about rates, and make recommendations.
  • Ability to gather key information to find solutions for customers.
  • Maintains confidentiality of customer information.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of cash transactions.
  • Team player, collaborator, and service-oriented.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Maintains and applies current procedural knowledge for compliance guideline standards.

Responsibilities

  • Process wires, cash checks, loans, and sell various company products like money orders, bill payments, lottery tickets, online sales, top-ups, and reloads.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate resources.
  • Count and balance cash drawers each shift, verify balances with the system, and handle cash responsibly.
  • Process deposits to and from the bank, and handle cash received and delivered by agents.
  • Identify and recommend additional company products and services that meet customer needs, with a focus on meeting sales goals.
  • Use available company materials to promote and offer the company's products.
  • Comply with company, state, and federal policies and regulations.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and identify and report any inappropriate or suspicious activity.
  • Keep track of all shift transactions and other relevant information using the company's systems or procedures.
  • Support company marketing initiatives when required, such as distributing flyers, sharing promotional materials, or assisting with campaigns.
  • Perform other tasks of a similar nature, scope, or level of responsibility as assigned by Management.
