About The Position

ESFM is the corporate facilities management (FM) division of Compass Group USA. This position is responsible for the safety of employees at one or more client sites. The role involves implementing HSE training, behavior-based safety programs, risk analysis, and HSE procedures in a hard and soft services environment. Responsibilities may include safety supervision of construction and special projects for both Compass employees and contractor staff. The position may also support critical operations requiring extended work periods, though this is rare. The typical employee count is around 28-35, potentially higher with projects. Success in this role requires being a team player and comfort in a client services environment.

Requirements

Solid understanding of health and safety processes and procedures in compliance and case management with food service, janitorial, and landscaping activities
Ability to assess risks, effectively train and implement and/or sustain a safety culture
Ability to work cohesively with internal managers and employees of Compass Group as well as key clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4 years industry experience

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certified preferred
CSP Recommended
College degree preferred but not required
Strong organizational skills
