About The Position

Performs a variety of tasks assisting in the support of the English Language Development (ELD) Program and other programs for multilingual and/or historically underserved students and families. Provides a variety of written translation and oral interpretation services for school programs and activities. Serves as a liaison between assigned school(s) and students’ homes. This position will work alternating days between Stoller Middle School and Tumwater Middle School.

Requirements

Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using technology applications such as Word and Google Drive applications
Experience working effectively independently and on teams
Excellent organizational skills
Available to work some evenings

Responsibilities

Assisting in the support of the English Language Development (ELD) Program and other programs for multilingual and/or historically underserved students and families.
