About The Position

For over 30 years, The IMA Group has partnered with individuals, employers, carriers, and government agencies to improve health and disability outcomes nationwide. We're growing our Florida team and looking for experienced RN Case Managers ready to bring their clinical expertise to workers' compensation cases — on a flexible, 1099 basis. This role offers a hybrid structure with local travel and remote documentation, supported by an established team with steady referral volume and flexible scheduling and caseload. Our Payer Services Division meets the evaluation and screening needs of Carriers, TPAs, Public Entities and Employers and includes behavioral health and physical medicine specialty services, working with a wide range of organizations within the workers' compensation, disability, liability, and auto markets. Our Clinical Research Division performs all types of Phase II-IV clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas through a flexible nationwide network of site locations and virtual capabilities.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license
• 3+ years of Workers' Comp Field Case Management experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Comfort working independently with a flexible caseload
• Reliable transportation across the Florida area
• Malpractice insurance, or the ability to obtain it

Nice To Haves

• CCM, CRRN, or similar certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans
• Attend appointments and evaluate treatment progression
• Communicate across providers, employers, attorneys, and carriers
• Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care
• Prepare timely, detailed case management reports
• Support return-to-work and transitional duty planning
• Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations
