About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager. This position is responsible for recruiting for field level security roles; places announcements for openings; works with agencies and other sources of personnel to secure candidates; and follows up on leads.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and writing skills along with planning and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing recruiting strategies to hire professionals.
  • Ability to be an effective team member.
  • Must be self directed and capable of meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Successful passage of background, reference, psychological, and controlled substance tests.
  • Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Computer usage.
  • Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Regular talking and hearing.
  • Frequent sitting.
  • Occasional walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring requisitions within an ATS then screening and interviewing applicants.
  • Utilize different dashboards and resume searches for assistance in sourcing and interviewing.
  • Creates profiles on hiring needs for locations in different markets.
  • Assists with Recruitment deficits in difficult markets throughout the US.
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding Recruitment improvements needed.
  • Meets with Manager and makes recommendations from analytical findings to improve overall success within Talent Acquisition.
  • Performs additional functions, duties and tasks of a similar nature and scope as may be required by department management to achieve initiatives.
  • Assists with applicant tracking system compliance and functions.
