The Bilingual Program Coordinator, Entrepreneurship supports in the planning, coordination, implementation, and assessment of the delivery of Futurpreneur Canada programming for entrepreneurs, and proactively contributes to its continuous improvement. Reporting to the Director, Entrepreneurship Programs and working with three Program Specialists, this role requires frequent cross-departmental coordination, specifically working closely with Corporate and Public Affairs, Marketing / Communications, and Entrepreneurs-in-Residence as well as liaising with other internal and external contributors to achieve departmental goals. This existing role is a permanent, full-time position, located in Toronto. The incumbent will be working on our hybrid work model (minimum 2 days in the office).

Requirements

  • Relevant experience may include education with a focus in Business Administration, Arts, or related field or equivalent hands-on career experience
  • 2 years previous work experience in project coordination, program development, delivery and/or management
  • Bilingualism in French & English (spoken & written) as you will be required to work on a daily basis with non-bilingual team members and/or clients across Canada and at Head office in Toronto
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and/ or projects simultaneously and be on time and on budget
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with a CRM (Dynamics Marketing nice to have)
  • Problem solving skills and proactive approach
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality work
  • Experience managing an LMS - an asset

Nice To Haves

  • Some research experience, specifically around document review
  • Knowledge of the small business sector in Canada; experience working with entrepreneurs, and understanding their needs
  • Experience working with external funding partners (government and corporate)

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Programs team to coordinate and implement delivery of Futurpreneur programs/initiatives (including Rock My Business Series and other programs). Support responsibilities include event/workshop planning, their moderation as needed, event logistics and day-of troubleshooting
  • Clarify and document processes related to activities directly linked to the Programs team
  • Contribute to reporting on key performance measurements and impacts of ongoing programs, including the collection and interpretation of user experience, client satisfaction and learning outcome metrics
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team for program-related internal and external communications
  • Analyze the data from post-workshop surveys in order to help in identifying program gaps and making recommendations to evolve and adapt existing offerings as well as plan and coordinate implementation of improvements, participating in team planning and brainstorming discussions
  • Work with the Entrepreneurship Programs team and other internal teams (e.g. Partnership team) and partners to support new initiatives
  • Support on identification of relevant measurement and evaluation metrics
  • Document findings and make recommendations on program updates and improvements
  • Pull together documents from various sources, and begin to find themes and trends and support the Director, Entrepreneurship Programs, in compiling findings
  • Support the team in documenting forward-looking roadmaps of all programs
  • Support the team in gathering quantitative and qualitative data to validate new ideas
  • Assist in gathering information about related Canada-wide and international programs, trends and best practices
