About The Position

Oscar Medical Group is seeking an innovative and boundary-pushing Bilingual Physician (Spanish/English) to join their Virtual Urgent Care team. This role involves refactoring healthcare by delivering personalized primary and urgent care to Oscar members via phone, video, and asynchronous messaging. The position also includes supervisory responsibilities for other Advanced Practice Providers.

Requirements

• Must hold an active medical license in a state that participates in the IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) -- Preferred with active LOQ
• Board licensed in TN and FL
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Must be fluent in Spanish (Read, Write & Speak)
• 3+ years experience in an in-person outpatient primary care office (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Med/Peds)

Nice To Haves

• Internal medicine certification not required to see children
• 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
• Licensed in other Oscar states

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care virtually to a panel of patients (ages 18+) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies and support while supporting urgent care needs in our 24/7 urgent care clinic
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, BH and CM as well as other providers across service lines
• Supervise and prescriptive authority with APPs and perform quality assurance
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
