About The Position

We are seeking Bilingual (English/Creole) Patient Service Representatives to provide exceptional service and support to our diverse patient population. In this role, you will assist patients with their scheduled appointments, financial clearance needs, or general inquiries—always ensuring a positive and compassionate experience. You may work in Financial Clearance or Scheduling depending on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Haitian Creole (verbal and written)
  • Strong customer service or patient service background
  • Call center or high‑volume customer support experience
  • Proficiency in Windows and standard computer systems
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify patient demographic and financial information for pre‑registration.
  • Obtain insurance authorizations and pre-certifications.
  • Verify insurance, confirm eligibility, and review benefits.
  • Follow department procedures for payment options, benefit verification, and financial counseling.
  • Support team members when needed to ensure timely processing.
  • Accurately schedule outpatient appointments.
  • Provide clear instructions regarding tests, preparation, directions, rescheduling, and order-related inquiries.
  • Handle lower to moderately complex appointment types.
  • Answer patient questions with professionalism and empathy.
