About The Position

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist to join their skilled team of pediatric professionals in Pennsauken, NJ. This position is benefit eligible. The role is responsible for answering telephone calls and transferring them to appropriate destinations, greeting patients, collecting required documentation, copays, deductibles, or payment of services prior to treatment and documenting transactions in EMR. Additionally, the receptionist will perform daily insurance verifications, monitor entrances and exits of visitors, patients, and families, and handle various clerical functions as assigned by the Manager and/or Director. A thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to these duties is expected.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and patient’s families
Ability to function independently or under supervision as task requires
Organizational and time management skills
Strong customer service skills
Bilingual (Spanish)

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in clerical/healthcare environment preferred

Responsibilities
