About The Position

The On-Site Supervisor at Midway Staffing is responsible for running the staffing side of a light industrial operation directly from the floor. This role involves recruiting and screening candidates, onboarding new hires, handling timecards, and communicating with the client's leadership team. The position requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency to support a diverse workforce. The role is fast-paced and requires the ability to manage unexpected staffing needs, build trust with associates and clients, and maintain confidentiality. A significant part of the job involves continuous recruiting efforts, including posting jobs, sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Recruiting or staffing experience (required, this is the heart of the job)
• A real customer service mindset, with associates and clients alike
• Comfort with email, job boards, and Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation for occasional travel to other client sites and branches

• HR experience (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, sourcing, and screening candidates in English and Spanish to keep the client fully staffed
• Onboarding new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and on-the-job training
• Leading safety training for new associates and doing daily site walkthroughs
• Submitting timecards, reviewing assignments, and answering payroll questions
• Preparing daily reports on rosters, attendance, and safety
• Serving as the main point of contact for the client's leadership team on your shift
