About The Position
HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate, dedicated caregivers fluent in multiple languages to provide high-quality care and support to clients in San Mateo County, California, and surrounding communities. Communicating in clients’ preferred languages helps them feel understood, respected, and comfortable in their daily lives. Open roles include Hourly Caregiver, 12-hr Caregiver, and 24-hr Caregiver. Compensation is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses. HomeWell Care Services serves seniors and homebound individuals across San Mateo and the Bay Area, helping them preserve independence and providing peace of mind to their families. Requirements
- Proven experience as a caregiver or healthcare aide.
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages, including English and at least one other language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with patience and empathy.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and safety protocols.
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to adapt to client needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance and help with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Communicate with clients in their preferred language to build trust and rapport.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
