Backpack Healthcare•Baltimore, MD

About The Position

Backpack Healthcare is hiring a Maryland-licensed mental health therapist to provide virtual behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families. The position offers part-time or full-time scheduling and a caseload of 15–36 sessions per week. Clinicians provide individual, family, and group therapy through telehealth and can create a schedule that works for them. Most clinicians work weekday afternoons and evenings, typically 2–9 PM; weekend availability is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish clinicians are strongly preferred to help families receive culturally responsive care in Spanish. The therapist works independently in a remote environment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that includes therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other care providers. Compensation is $45–$65 per billable hour, based on license level, with monthly performance-based bonus potential for eligible clinicians. Benefits and other offerings include medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible full-time employees, a 401(k) with a 3% company match, paid time off, annual CEU reimbursement, free clinical supervision for eligible LMSW/LPC roles, company-paid life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and clinical leadership opportunities including the Residency & Fellowship Program.
