About The Position

Backpack Healthcare is seeking licensed mental health therapists, with a strong preference for bilingual English/Spanish speakers, to join their growing team in Maryland. This is a remote, part-time to full-time position focused on expanding access to culturally responsive mental health care for children, teens, and young adults. The role emphasizes clinician well-being and offers opportunities for professional growth and impact within diverse communities.

Requirements

• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Experience serving children, teens, and families
• Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via secure telehealth
• Conduct comprehensive intakes and assessments
• Develop culturally responsive, client-centered treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EHR
• Support families with education, tools, and ongoing care coordination
