About The Position

The Medical Scribe supports healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR). The Scribe allows providers to focus on patient care while ensuring clinical documentation is complete and up to date. The schedule will be divided between two part-time employees.

Requirements

Bilingual English/Spanish
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous medical scribe experience is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records.
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

Document patient visits, medical histories, assessments, and treatment plans in the EMR.
Accurately record information provided by the physician or healthcare provider.
Assist with reviewing and organizing patient charts and medical records.
Enter orders, diagnoses, medications, and other clinical information as directed.
Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and follows office procedures.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
Perform other administrative or clinical documentation duties as needed.
