Requirements

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.

  • Ability to pass a background check and comply with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing insurance information.
  • Communicate effectively with patients in both English and a second language to explain medical instructions, answer questions, and provide emotional support.
  • Collect and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant health information accurately and confidentially.
